Review of Finance

The Review of Finance (RF) is a peer-reviewed journal that competes for the best articles in the field of finance. The journal’s editorial policy is guided by two criteria: quality and innovation.

Doctoral Events

EFA holds two EFA Doctoral Events for PhD students in Finance: a tutorial and a workshop.  Applications are invited between February 15 and March 15 and the events are hosted by the Annual Meeting.

Doctoral Tutorial Submission is closed!

The EFA-DT thanks PhD students who submitted their single-authored research papers on topics within the field of finance.  We received 129 submissions for this 2025 edition! The competitive one-day Doctoral Tutorial in Finance (EFA-DT) is for 8 selected students nearing the end of their doctoral thesis and is held the same day as the official opening of the EFA Annual Meeting.  Notification will be made in early June 2025.

Venue: SKEMA Business School, Paris

EFA 2025 - Submission is closed!

The SKEMA Business School is proud to organize the 52nd Annual Meeting of the European Finance Association. The meeting will be held in Paris at the SKEMA campus from 20 through 23 August, 2025.

Registration for the conference will open by May 1, 2025.  More information will be available closer to the date.

The EFA 2025 Annual Meeting offers seven sessions in collaboration with institutional partners.

Papers for the special sessions will undergo the same submission and review process as regular paper submissions. Submitting to special sessions means that you are submitting to the main conference. The papers for these special sessions will be chosen from the pool submitted to the conference.
